Programs

CONFERENCES
The Society of St Vincent de Paul Groups based in parishes throughout the Vancouver Archdiocese carry out the Society's main service of home visits to the poor along with other services such as food hampers, furniture distribution, and outreach services.

OUTREACH
Our SSVP Coffee & Sandwich Truck serves the homeless of Vancouver's Downtown East Side three evenings a week.

THRIFT STORES 
The Society's Thrift Stores provide an opportunity for those on limited income to acquire clothing, furniture, and household goods at low or no cost. Proceeds help the poor.
The Main Street Thrift Store also provides emergency food bags of bread and non-perishable food to customers in need.


BETTY O'FLYNN BURSARY
Awarded annually to post-secondary students who are pursuing a career which supports life issues. Click here to read more and/or apply.


Interested in supporting our programs?

Support our work by donating your gently used household goods or volunteering your time to the thrift stores or to your nearest Society of St Vincent de Paul Conference.
